| Here is my version of Flygon, This is an updated version of what I ran at Hobby League which at gave a good performance.
Pokemon 21
1 Flygon Lv.X RR 3 Flygon RR 2 Vibrava RR 3 Trapinch SW 1 Dusknoir DP 1 Duskull SF 2 Weavile SW 2 Sneasel LA 2 Claydol GE 2 Baltoy GE 2 Unown G GE
Trainers 30
4 Rosanne's Research 3 Broken Time Space 4 Poke Healer + 3 Lucian's Assignment 4 Bebe's Search 2 Warp Point 4 Rare Candy 3 Super Scoop Up 2 Night Maintenance 1 Luxury Ball
Energy 9
4 Special Darkness 2 Fighting 2 Call 1 Psychic
Strategy
Get as many evolved Pokemon out as quick as possible, using Weavile to charge up Flygon you have the ability to hit for
60+ 50 for Evolved Benched Pokemon + 20 Special Darkness Energy = 130 Damage
Which in the current format is definatly a OHKO against all major decks.
Changes from Hobby League
-1 Fighting Energy -2 Premier Ball -1 Uxie LA +1 Psychic Energy +1 Bebe's Search +1 Duskull SF +1 Dusknoir DP
I decided to add in Dusknoir as it is another evolved Pokemon, which has got a very useful Pokepower, this meant that Uxie had to be sacrificed as I was drawing cards from my deck too fast and on a couple of occasions thought I would deck out if it went on for another two or three turns, This change also resulted in a Psychic Energy being exchanged for a Fighting Energy giving Dusknoir free retreat with Flygon's PokeBody. I also decided to add in another Bebe's Search instead of the Premier Ball as this adds consistency and Flygon Lv.X is still searchable.
Match Reports
vs. Donezator w/ Mightytank (Matchup Before 40-60)
I really though that this was in the bag for Don, I really like his build of Mighytank as it is very interesting and annoying at times. I went second and dropped Broken Time Space, meaning he was in a lot of trouble as he had a bad start anyway and he was only running Broken Time Space for his Stadium, this meant that he couldn't posion his Mightyena to attack for free. I was boosted by having a fully charged Flygon ready for my T2 assault. It was a good game but I won (for once! lol)
Matchup After 60-40
vs. Gorgosorus w/ Empoleon (Matchup Before 55-45)
This has got to be the best Empoleon deck I have seen for a long time. He managed to get 2 Empoleons out by T2 and T3. I also managed to get out my Flygon and get it charged up. I ended up constantly hitting for 120/130 to get the KO's.
We played each other again and it went the same.
Matchup After 70-30
Dante w/ Snorlax (Matchup Before 30-70)
I though this would be tough as I have weakness to Colourless Pokemon, but it turned out to be fun. We played each other 3 times with me winning 2 with a Weavile assault. Dante won the 3rd after hitting my lone Flygon Lv.X for x2 Weakness.
Matchup After 50-50
I also played Gallade 4/Alakazam 4 which I won and Gengar which I lost. | |

| I like the list, though I still think that Uxie LA is needed. Early game it can be Game-changing (or even game saving ), and despite the fact that Flygon's attack does more with the amount of evolved Pokemon on your bench, you could always use Super Scoop up to return it to your hand. Perhaps extra Fighting energy and Volkner's a more increased chance of a Turn 1! You're first turn could look like this : Trapinch, attach fighting, Volkners to discard fighting, draw to have 6, Trapinch's Power, Rare Candy, Flygon, 40 damage! ... All in your first turn!! | Uxie isn't needed, your right it can be game changing but only in certain decks, I can have Claydol out T1 if I need to so it isn't really a problem for me, I don't like Volkner's its an extra supporter and thing will get clogged up and I'm not using the Trapinch your talking about. | |

| Oh sorry didn't see that :S I would recommend RR Trapinch over SW, any particular reason why SW is being used?

| Because if you start with it you can disrupt your opponent's play, I.e bring in Baltoy and make them waste an energy to retreat or bring up a Claydol and make them unhappy. | |

| They get to chose what to switch you know? So this would only work if they had only Baltoy or Claydol on their Bench...] Don | |

| No, you switch the Pokemon. Here is a scan of the card. It clearly states "Switch the Defending Pokemon with 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon." This means that you get to choose what comes into play. Here is Yanmega 4 so you can see the difference in text. "Your opponent switches the Defending Pokemon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokemon." This means 2 things. 1) I am right, you're wrong. 2) Trapinch is Broken. | |

| Can as the text clearly states that you get to choose. NoPoke uses the Compendium for his rulings and most of the time that is wrong. | |

| Oh, good old Unown G lol. I have tried to update the list further but it seems to be slower than what I played on Saturday, with 1 Uxie in there. I have tried Let Loose Giratina and that failed and wasted bench space, I am running out of ideas. | |
