Huntik Nationals Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August

Less than a week till the UK Huntik Nationals. Anybody here planning on attending?
I know I'll be there on day two (seeing that I'll be working on day one).

If you are going then post here and perhaps we can arrange to meet up during the event.

Where is it taking place Floris? Perhaps I'll pop down, learn to play and then woop everyone with a starter deck Perhaps if you advertise the site on any Huntik forums you know about it would be awesome. I don't think we have many Huntik players at the moment, so any help is appreciated!

It will be held in Birmingham. The Nationals are run over two days and the players who won a Store Championship or Regionals Tournament have already got a ticket for day two. So if you want to go get yourself down to:

Huntik is a new (well released at the start of this year) TCG by UDE. It is a very fast game where one player tries to complete a mission and the opponent tries to stop them. Huntik is sold and played in all good TCG shops.

The cards mentioned in the topic so far are all commons but if they have a code on them instead of the rules text then they are worth a fraction more for collectors (so me). Bring them in and I'll sort you out.

The first UK Nationals had 56 people on day two so that is a good start. There where less for WoW and only 12 for WoW Miniatures held at the same time.

1st place was a PS3 and second to fourth got an Ipod. Everybody got boosters and promo cards with a Huntik Nationals deckbox. There where also playmats to be won and branded Huntik bags.

Huntik tournaments at shop level have boosters and promo cards as prizes and the regional tournaments for the last Nationals at shops had a Wii for the winner.

I like the game and will be giving it a lot more time in my local shop with tournaments and special events. (same will be happening for Pokemon, Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh!).
